Best Headers for SBC (pre LT1/LSx)

Ok, dumb question, but having been out of the old SBC scene for a while, just looking for your opinions on which headers would be best. Thinking of going with heddman's (14 gauge, ceramics, 3/8" flanges). What's the best connection, flange or ball and socket flange? Gonna go with the performer rpm air gap package (heads, cam, lifters, intake).....

Not a bad choice in headers. You may also look at Hooker Super Comps. If you have the choice the ball and socket is a better choice.

Get coated headers just for the fact they will last longer and won't rust. hedmans are alright but I have seen them with holes in them in less than 2 years same goes for hooker non coated. just my 2 cents though
