Well lets start here... My car once in a while dosent like to accept fuel... i put the nozzle into the hole, and it just spits the gas back out at me... WTF??? and then yesterday my fuel pump has been whinning really loud, so something is Fd up with that too...

That really is odd. Not sure what that means exactly. I can only think you might want to check out the connecting hose to the tank and also the vent tube. If the vent isn't allowing the tank to fill it might cause something like that. I'm not sure if all tanks are vented or not but my '94 actually draws air (vacuum sealed) when I open the cap after running it from a full tank to an empty one. I sometimes wonder if that vacuum is a problem too?

pray to god it's not your fuel pump if it's whining really loud, better break out a pair or aluminum snips and cut that oh so wonderful hole unless you wanna drop your rear end....and when you say it spits fuel back at you, do you mean when you pump gas, it just pumps it back out the same hole it's pumping into? i had that happen once on my truck, can't remember what was wrong with it....how full of gas is it when you try pumping it?

you haven't messed with anything lately right? this might sound crazy, but if you've got a piece of garden hose, or any other kinda of hose, not the ones were used to, lol, but anyway, stick it in you tank and maybe blow on it, sounds retarded, but what your car is doing makes no sense to me what so ever

it is possible he has a pinched bypass hose the small hose that runs to the top of the tank.. so there is nowhere for the air to go

Well, i went to the MCX gas station, and they said it might be this brass ball that stops the fuel when the car flips over... They said it could be stuck... I have talked to 3 different shops and they said they wont touch it. So i guess im going to have to bring it to HAll Pontiac... unless there is any closer GM dealerships to Norfolk... Still, i dont think it is that, im going t5o try and rip it apart tomorrow, anyone wanna help?

That is some wierd stuff right there. That whining from the pump might just be lack of fuel.
I could give you a hand on friday but tomorrow would be a no go for me.

after looking around the net with others having similar problems, i'd check the vent line to see if it's clogged/pinched/kinked

I've got a 2 1/2 ton jack, stands and tool set.

Just talked to Joe. Did you know we have to drop the rear axle to remove the tank?
