There has been some interest in this. So, I will see what I can do to make it happen. I.E. Seperate parking for ECD, little lower price, etc...
It's very early in the planning stages. What I do kind of need is a baseline number of people that will show up and run there cars. It will help tremendously with getting them to cooperate.
UPDATE:
Address for Langley Speedway: 11 Dale Lemonds Dr.
Hampton Va 23666

I think we should do the afternoon since some have to drive a little ways to get there. Show up early so that you can register. Once there full..... Well you know. I will be there at about 9 a.m. then go get something to eat.

NOW MORE OF THE SPECIFICS:
1. The event runs from 8 a.m. thru 6 p.m. (8-12:30 session and 1:30-5:30 session). I would like to get everyone to the same session if possible.
2. The cost is $40 for a 2 hour session. I ran 9 runs last week which is a steal. From past experience most groups will only give you 3 or 4 runs.
3. You will need a helmet. They have some loaner helmets but most of us have our own so that should not be a problem. If that is a problem I'll loan mine out.
4. Tech. There is a tech. You can take grandma's Caddi out there as long as it's road worthy. Being that we all have to pass State inspection there should be no problems.
5. Things in the car. If you have something in the car that is not bolted down or secured it will have to be removed. good advice. Clean the car before you come but not really that big a deal. I left my camera camera bag in an open field for 4 hours unattended and when I came back it had not moved.
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to get the meat of things out there so you know what to expect. If you have ANY questions let me know. I would really like a good turn out.
If nothing else than having fun, atleast you'll know the limits of your car.

it was 113 in a 55... yeah, i got to keep the car.. licence for 30 days, $597 fine, 2 days community service
edit: I was racing a 4 door Integra. the trooper told the judge i was in the lead when he clocked me... I was doing 130... how he got me at 113 is beyond me.
