Well I have been tinkering with these for the last two weeks but hadn't had a solid day to work on them. Well due to the weather yesterday we didn't work any of our guys. So I got to work on these wheels and get paid. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks to my boy Rone for staying at the shop and helping me out. (even though he was paid too.) Here is where I'm at.

Here is where I started. This wheels is the second worst. Nice peeling chrome.

Here is two that are primed. One is ready for paint the other needs a little attention. (the worst)

This one has been primed and had the silver lip painted. Now to tape and paint the black.

For those who don't know this is what I'm going for.

Thats cool. Couldn't you have gotten them powder coated? I know it would have cost more, but it would last longer.

Thought about it. I priced it out and it ranged from 200-400 and that was only one color. They all say if there was any tapeing envolved the price would go up. Not 100% sure that I'm going to like it. I figured this is only costing me a little time.

i did the same kinda thing with my wheels on the camaro, i think i put pics up on my profioe. But yea, a lil spray paint goes a long way, stuffs lasts a while. made it through my wreck and took a helluva lot of beating and still looked fine

They are looking pretty good now considering how they were. Got one taped off to spray the black today. Also testing a few clears to see whats going to give me my best finish. Hopefully by tomorrow I will have atleast one done maybe two. I'll post some more pics later.

Well first two are on the car. Hopefully the other two won't be too far behind. Sorry if the pics suck. They look like crap on my 1985 monitor here at work.

Well all four are on the car. Still need a center cap so I just painted one of my silver ones to get by for now. Its normally dark by the time I get home so I will try to get some pics up this weekend.
