Decent shop for tuning and exhaust fab, and has anyone heard of Gary's Transmissions?

I'm looking for a decent shop to get a 3in x pipe setup fabbed up, dumping before the axle. Also looking to get a tune... So far, it looks like I'm going with RameyBuilt. VA Speed has retarded prices, and everyone I talked to on the phone was an asshole.

Also, has anyone heard anything about Gary's Transmissions? My tranny is getting rebuilt through them (under warranty from the dealership). I'm going to cover the aftermarket goodies in the tranny out of pocket, and the dealership's going to cover half of all the regular parts and labor.

Gary's transmissions is where I always took my Z28 to get the clutch replaced. Never had any issues with them or their work.

Rameybuilt does my fab work if i cant do it myself. Brian is prob one of the best fabricators on the east-coast and Shaun there is right up there also.

Would you trust a RameyBuilt tune? Supposedly a guy there used to work at VA Speed.

My good friend Ed Tunes out of there. He does top notch tuning. Tell both Ramey and Ed that Steve with the IROC sent you. They will treat you good.

yeah, they quoted me 800 to fab a dumped x-pipe setup, 600 for a tune. they can kiss my lily-white ass. There's a reason I drive a Camaro instead of a Corvette.

Still makes no sense for Vette owners. Ramey will hook you up. My car is there now getting a bunch of custom fab work. 600 for a tune makes me LOL. Ed can hook you up and is a MILLION times better tuner.

Don't want to still the thread but where does ED work at now? I know he owns his own shop just don't remember where and I want to do some exhaust work and maybe check out my clutch... I had VA Speed do my clutch / transsmission install with ED doing the tuning and the price was pretty damn crazy. I don't think I will be going back there again but the work was done well so I havent had any issues sense then...

There prices are rediculous. HE has a small shop in chesapeake and tunes on RameyBuilts and All Aspects dynos.
