Ok, friday the 4th they are having "street wars" and a T&T, then saturday they are having ET points and a T&T.

So im not sure how long of a drive it would be for us, id say 2 hours maybe? If that's the case we would want to be there by 10 or 11, so meet somewhere near the highway at around 8 in the morning on saturday? Im just piecing this together as i go so feel free to chime in with a couple ideas. Im pretty stoked for the ride out there.

well i fess up! i did run a 12.58 last time at the track. i have done a few new things since then, to include a tune by ed at the hp factory. bumped the shot from a 75hp to a 150hp and a couple other things. so i belive with my fingers and toes crossed that i should run some mid to high 11's this time.

Most of the cars here are almost totally stock! Except for Socal's which has had the rear seats deleted. It's one of the most highly modified cars here though it almost looks stock from outside. Mine has an aftermarket CD player and I think NovaJoe's Camaro has a K&N air filter.

Oh, I forgot, GRNta is running a 25 horse shot, runs mid 13's if the weather is cold and the track is good.

Typically I autocross. 2nd time to the track ran a 13.9 while spinning all of 1st and most of 2nd.

The car has potential (mid 12's) but the driver sucks.

My car really is stock, unless you count lowering springs and mufflers... even if i DID have a JLT, CAI, 3.90 gears, 70mm TB and an O/R H-pipe, I would still be slow... :D

man tech isnt that bad there. esp if we get there early. there alot tighter on the race cars than the test and tune street cars. just have a helmet and long pants and working seat belts.and all will be good. tell the tech person you will run high thirteens and he won't look at much.

what springs r u running? double? and what rockers? full body alum? i just had the same issue with a set of gmpp 1.6 alum rkrs and crane 10308 double springs. the darn retainers where so large that the bottom of the rkrs where touching them. had to get a drop retainer with 10 degree locks to fix it.

I am on the fence on going as I am already signed up to be there the day before for a private run with DTP Racing. I will be testing out the motor to the max. If it does not get 115+ Trap speeds it will be yanked. So I may be without a motor for the next day...LOL

Well I am officially out as I will be yanking the motor out for another one. Talked with the builder... and it looks like I will be going to a (7.0L) 426 stroker engine to replace this forged engine.

Hopefully I will be ready to go with you all to one of these. It going to take about 4 weeks probably to get another engine ready and installed.
