I just got in contact with a guy in England that wrote some shareware software for reading and clearing ABS codes on OBD1 GM cars (1995 Firebird in his case). Here's the link if anyone is interested... OPPS (Actually it was a Z28 - see below)

Hi.
Just like to say my software "should" be able to read other models/ALDL streams rather than just LT1 Z28's. (Never had a Firebird!)
It will read ABS codes though and I've not found any other software that will other than a tech2 which allways seemed expensive.

As I said to Chris (Jazz) though I'm not going to support it now due to lack of feedback and I've not touched it in a couple of years, but i'm still here if people need any help with it.
As ever all the usual disclaimers apply and read the help first.

Mine was just a simple connector loose, so we're going to try it out on NovaJoe's car. His has problems too...
