1994 LT1 Firebird with an electrical short...
Still blowing the fan fuse. Its blows WHEN THE FAN IS NOT RUNNING..
Have to check a few more things but have done the following...
1. Swapped relays
2. Grounded the engine
3. Checked the alternator
4. Checked the igniton switch connection
Still need to...
1. Check the amps to the fans
2. Trace the connection to the ignition from the fuse
Also, the fans have run without problems previously without blowing the fuse
The problem is intermittent and doesn't seem related to anything else.
Any clues?
