Window motor

So, on the way to work this morning my driver side window motor gave up the ghost AGAIN. This will the be second replacement in 2 years. Maybe these motors don't last forever but I'd expect to see more than two years since the original lasted for almost ten. I suppose you get what you pay for right... So I'll be working on that sometime in the next day or two. Seems like its always something, but that's what we get for driving cars that are more than a decade old. Typical :)

Think it was only 1 year. I'm going to check tho before I buy the new one. Next one will be a lifetimer.

I had the dealer replace 1 of my window motors in the SS a few years ago....

why buy one you got my old doors and i think the motors are in them

I'm going to check that tonight. I'm pretty sure the motor was removed from the driver's side though with some of the other parts.

Well, I've picked up a motor already. Guess I'll find out when I get home if that's the cause. I at least need to get the window into the full up position so it doesn't rain in the car or anything. At least my AC works so I don't really need to put it down once its up if the motor doesn't fix it.

I'm pretty sure its the motor because its also been a little slow the past couple times I used it.

The motor was $55.00 and in stock. So, I suppose I'll know for sure when I get the beast home tonight.

Problems resolved. New motor installed. When I took it out water poured out of it. Took about an hour to replace.
